What is Design/Build?
Design/Build is a construction method where the owner hires one contractor that is responsible for taking a project from the design stage all the way through to completion. The contractor is responsible for the integrity of the design as well as the installation. By streamlining the construction process in this way the owner is able to lower costs, save time, increase quality and reduce administrative burdens. Since a single entity is responsible for both design and construction there is increased continuity throughout the entire construction process.

Traditionally, construction projects have included the following phases:

  • Schematic Design
  • Design Development
  • Construction Documentation
  • Bidding
  • Construction Administration

The Design/ Build process combines all these stages which allows the project to begin even before the final design is completed. Changes and design adjustments can easily be made as the project progresses without unnecessary paperwork, cost increases, or lost time.

  • “After calling a few different electricians for quotes I found that Badger Electric offered the best rate with no additional service charges. The electrician arrived on time and was able to troubleshoot our electrical problem in a short period of time. The problem was thoroughly explained to us and then we were provided with a few different solutions. The final bill accurately reflected the services provided with no hidden fees. I would definitely recommend Badger Electric to others in need of electrical assistance!”

  • "I can't thank you enough for your prompt and excellent service. My wife and I returned home from the hospital with our newborn daughter to find our kitchen light fixture broken leaving us without lights in the kitchen. Badger Electric made a special trip on a Saturday morning to install a new light fixture. I can't express enough my gratitude for your gracious and prompt service. The fixture is still working great. When I need an electrician in the future I know I will be calling on you again. Thank you."
